Too subtle to be suited to the beginner's list, I think. I've used
gadri for years without knowing that, without being corrected on it by
anyone hearing or reading my usage. But such hairsplitting is what I
love about the Lojban community, so I embrace it.

Beginners:

Don't forget to start your sumti with a gadri. Unless you're replacing
the whole sumti with a pronoun, for example {mi} "me" or {do} "you".
Sure there's more detail but for now, you're good to go. Gadri 101
