Hmm... might I suggest a system where the notes are names after numbers chromatically in order:
C - pa
C#/Db - re
D - ci
D#/Eb - vo
E - mu
F - xa
F#/Gb - ze
G - bi
G#/Ab - so
A - dau
A#/Bb - fei
B - gai
After all, what is seriously lacking in either the solfa system and the letter system is a way to represent all the notes in the octave with a single syllable.

I'm curious, is there a system in Lojban for naming musical notes?
