I wouldn't say there's a push to use alternative scripts. Few seem very dissatisfied with Lojban's Roman script. I don't know how much Lojban text has ever been written in another script other than for purposes of demonstrating how to use it (perhaps there is some writing in Cyrillic?)

I seem to be more interested than the rest of Lojbanistan in trying to write Lojban in other real-world scripts. I have previously worked out methods for writing it in Tibetan script and in Devanagari, and I've recently been working on a version of the Manchu (similar to Mongol) alphabet that would support Lojban (unlike
 Tibetan and Devanagari Lojban, my Manchu writing requires a few extra diacritics not found in the original in order to fully unambiguous).

I believe it would be possible to develop a method for writing Lojban using Chinese characters, but it would require a lot of work from someone with a very thorough knowledge. I figure you would need to assign at least one character for each word and one for each rafsi.
