[lojban-beginners] Re: A name for Sweden

On the lojban wiki there is an article for Sweden where
Sweden ahs the lojban name "suis", which has very little to do with the Swedish
name for Sweden which is Sverige.  I suggested
something like "svei,ey" but I* got this reply back on the discussion page:

.i lojbo drani fa zoi zoi. sveiey .zoi na .e zo sfeies .e zo
zveies .i zoi zoi. Sverige .zoi se
krati ma ne ma'i la'o zoi. IPA .zoi .i mu'o mi'e komfo,amonan

If I read that correctly it complain that its unlojbanic (or
have I miss understood that?). So, I was wonder, anyone else have a
suggestion?

There are two things wrong with it:
1. All cmevla must end with a consonant.
2. The consonant cluster [sv] is disallowed in Lojban, as it is a voiced-unvoiced consonant pair.

Given that the IPA for [Sverige] is /ˈsvær.jə/, I suggest [la zveriys.].

BTW, could some one explain why this is so:

ni'o lo tumla pe ko'a kurfa ki'otre li vo vo so ki'o so xa
mu

Rather than "ki'otre te'a li re" as it area?

[te'a] is ungrammatical in that position.
