I believe [ka] works here: remoi fi le ka [ce'u] barda (second in bigness/second biggest)

make all the hats I own a set by referring to them as le'i?

I believe so: ti remoi le'i sedyta'u po mi le ka [ce'u] barda (This is second of the hats I own in bigness/This is my second biggest hat).
