I think you want {le nanmu je'u} if you are concerned with the
veracity of {nanmu}.

When attitudinals attach to a structure word, the sense is that they
apply to the whole structure connected with that word, so  {le je'u
nanmu} is equivalent to {le nanmu ku je'u}, and that would mean
something like "it is truly THE MAN that reads", i.e an answer to {le
nanmu ku xu cu tcidu}, "Is it THE MAN that reads?".
