"de'i ro la vodjed" is grammatical. It means that "ro la vodjed" has
the sense of "detri"s x1.
And I tend to prefer this BAI solution to the "ca" one, simply because
it's more specific. The same for "ti'u". Also note that the same
positioning rules apply to "ca ro la vodjed" and "de'i ro la vodjed".

I think that's perfectly valid.
I'm not sure about the subscript solution though. It might be a bad
style to start with "ko'a xi mu" followed by "ko'a xi pa", or maybe
not.
