[lojban-beginners] Re: nursery rhyme

I was afraid of this.  If I make it rhyme and/or have the same number of syllables as the english version it tends to become un-grammatical.  *sigh* oh well.

I was wondering if it would be legitimate to say "mu'i mo" as if to say "motivationaly because of  ?what-relationship?".  I guess not.

and I fat-fingered that part, it's supposed to be "go'i mu'i do ____ mi" which I think is still not grammatical for the same reason that you mentioned earlier.  So it should be "go'i mu'i lonu do ____ mi" though that sounds a little clunky with the extra sylablles.

You need to separate sentences with "{.i}."

> mi jersi do mu'i mo

That should be "{mu'i ma}."  "{mo}" is the {selbri} interrogative, while "{ma}"
is the {sumti} interrogative.

I'm not sure what you're trying to attach "{goi}" to here (or even if you're
using it remotely properly), but "{mu'i}," when used as a {sumti tcita}, must
be followed by a {sumti}, usually one that uses an abstraction.  In this case,
it seems that you want "{mu'i lonu do ____ mi}."
