[lojban-beginners] Re: Penguicon Lojban Festival Update
Hi there, Cyranos! Thanks for asking. The current President of the
Board of Directors of the Logical Language Group is also the Chair of
Penguicon (that's me). I'm providing facilities to host a Lojban
Festival as part of Penguicon this year, which is why we're talking
about it here.
Penguicon is a convention of about a thousand people in southeast
Michigan, right down the street from Metro Detroit Airport in Romulus.
It is three weeks from now on the weekend of May 1 through 3. It
brings together science fiction, open source software, and other geek
interests. Preregistration costs $45 ($50 at the door), and although
our conference hotel is full, the hotels next door are not.
More information is available at http://penguicon.org, but feel free
to email me with specific questions.
