One possible problem is that "batke" already has a place for the
garment they are on, so "ti batke lo taxfu fi'o se mlana lo taxfu",
"these are buttons on the garment at the side of the garment" is
slightly odd. "fi'o mlana lo pritu .e lo zunle" adds that there are
left and right things to the side: "buttons at the side of the garment
with right and left things to the side". But to the side of what? Of
the buttons or of the garment? I don't know whether it makes sense,
but it could be confusing.

   batke lo mlana (be lo taxfu)
   buttons on the side(s) (of the garment)

   batke lo pritu .e lo zunle
   buttons on the right and on the left
