   I would say that's a metaphorical use of the word kurki which
generally means to disagreeable to one of the senses (bitter,
foul-smelling, noisy and the like).   So, if you mean it to be
"irritating", yeah, it works.  If you in fact mean to not agreeing to
a fact, use "toltu'i"
