Why does the x2 of {kecti} need to be a person? Can I not feel pity for a dog? Similarly, though maybe a bit less arguable, does even the x1 need to be a "person"?
Âkecti kec ke'i pity x1 (person) pities/feels sorry for x2 (person) about x3 (abstraction) 4c 23 (cf. cinmo, xendo)
A quick spin through the gismu list shows that the restriction to people is not shown consistently for places regarding brain-states. Good catch; that should probably be fixed. In any event, I can't imagine they need to be people. I'd guess the main thing is you can't put an abstraction in those places.
