mmm, you could be right.  I was trying to convey the meaning of the saying in that "if you don't understand the requirements then you can only succeed un-intentionally."  But I guess one who doesn't understand the requirements still intends to succeed and thus can't 'accidentally' do so.  Maybe some form of {funca} would be more appropriate?

I don't think that "by chance" can be rendered well in this case by "accidentally".

I know that "you understand" should be-- do jimpe
and I think that "you cannot understand" would be -- do na ka'e jimpe
"If" is giving me real trouble though.
I also am uncertain if I need to use a "then" and if I do, I am
uncertain as to what it is.
Perhaps I just need to seperate the two parts with an -- .i
