[lojban-beginners] eSpeak Lojban feedback from a blind person.

There are a couple of blind people who have been chatting with me on
IRC; one of them had this coversation with me today:


<foaly> Quick question, in Lojban, are you supposed to say numbers
like 27 as twenty seven? or do you just say them individually? I was
playing with the Espeak jbo voice and noticed it was just combining
them like pano or 10

(I explained)

<foaly> ah

<foaly> I've got only one problem with the Espeak jbo then, it doesn't pause when you give it a period

<foaly> but yeah

<rlpowell> What's espeak jbo?

<rlpowell> Oh, I see espeak.

<rlpowell> 0.o It has a lojban implementation.  How did that happen?

<foaly> Not sure. It's actually quite well developed though, ssome of the
voices are just the brittish default with numbers and letters. This one
actually has good pronounciation

<rlpowell> *huh*.

<rlpowell> I see posts about it.

<rlpowell> I think the person who worked on it would be very excited to get
feedback from a blind person; may I post to the list and copy you?
