I'm not sure that "be" ... "be'o" is the best way to get the
reference to "mi"; ie, referring to _my_ life in to the second
place of "se lifri".
(BTW, this explains why I have such boring translations today.)
This can be shortened to simply lo se lifri be mi cu (or ku, since you seem to prefer that) to'e cinri. There is no need to close the be'o, since the ku/cu does it for you. And yeah, that's a fine way of doing it.
