Re: [lojban-beginners] Re: "me too" in Lojban

For what it's worth, the two standard ways to say "good night" I'm familiar with and that I use are:
{lo pluka ko li'i nicte} (used a lot on IRC)
and
{ko nicte zanfri}

For "too/also", you use ji'a/si'a/mi'u, depending on the situation.

Well, I thought di'ai is UI, but it's COI. In this case I think that
the correct form of saying "good night" is {di'ai do melbi nicte} or
{di'ai do'u melbi nicte} and then you can reply {di'ai do'u go'i}.
{ra'o} is not needed, because there are no pro-assignments in the
bridi part.

How to express the reply compactly in Lojban ?
—pluka mi
—go'i ra'o
which is no shorter than this short utterance, but than longer ones it is.

or
- Good night !
- [Good night to] you too !
- di'ai melbi nicte
- ???
"go'i ra'o" doesn't work with "di'ai" (which I had to look up), but it does
work with "lo xamgu ko li'i".
