It could, but compare these:
mi jacke'o li 39 .iku'i mi na glare tu'a lo jipci
.i lo jacke'o be li 800 cu glare lo nu lo tirse cu maksi

There isn't a ganse modal. I think it would be "cilmo ga'a mi" or "cilmo ri'i 
mi" or "cilmo seva'o mi".
