It's The Little Prince. "-ito" is a diminutive ending. And I read about his
adventures visiting the drunkard, the lamplighter, the geographer, the king,
the conceited man, and finally the Earth when I was a kid.

I never really read about him. I had a book called "The Little Prince", that had a picture of a boy on a very small asteroid with a flower growing under glass, but that's all I remember.

I grew up to things like "My Teacher is an Alien" and "Encyclopedia Brown".
