Expected frequency of use was not the first criterion. The gismu were
made before the rafsi, and then only certain rafsi were available for
assignment to each gismu. So the comparison shouldn't really be with
other body-parts but with other gismu that would have competed with
"zargu" for "zag" or for "za'u" (or "zar" or "zau"). For example
"zbabu" would have competed for "za'u" and lost.
