Re: [lojban-beginners] A very beginner question...

Hi everyone. I'm not sure if this the place for a question this simple,
but here goes:
Sure, this is one place where you can ask such questions.
[...] That said, will anyone tell me if
I'm saying the phrase "I love my family" correctly in Lojban? I came up
with: "prami le mi lanzu fa mi".
Perfectly correct!
I'm obviously trying to play around
with place structure. I thought this form had a nice ring to it, versus
the simpler "mi prami le mi lanzu.
And this one is also correct and means the same thing.
If you have already learned about {be ... [bei] ... be'o}, you can also
say {lo lanzu be mi}. This puts {mi} directly in the x2 of {lanzu}, so
the whole sumti means "The family that I am a member of" = "My family".
It is slightly more exact, but your version is also easy to understand.
Keep up the good work. :)
