[lojban-beginners] Tanru Grouping.

I have a quick question about tanru grouping. Quoting the wave lessons: "Tanru are grouped from left to right, so this tanru is understood: ((vajni merko) skami) te vecnu, a buyer of computers for important Americans."

Wouldn't it be more accurate to say that 'mi vajni merko skami te vecnu' means something like 'I am an important-American type of computer which buys things that are sold'?
