[lojban-beginners] lo xunre ca'ercarce

coi ro do

I thought it would be fun and instructive to try translating something simple into Lojban. Turns out, this very well known English poem is not as simple as it seems at first glance. Of course, I'm a beginning lojbanist, which doesn't help. If anyone is interested in commenting/correcting/critiquing, I would welcome it. Also, if anyone is interested in offering their own translation of the same poem, I think it would be a lot of fun to compare and contrast. At the risk of stating the obvious, the poem is "The Red Wheelbarrow", by William Carlos Williams. Here goes...

.i lo dukse mutce
cu nitcu cpana
lo xunre
ca'ercarce
noi lo carmi carvi
mutce bumru
cu se kansa
loi blabi jipci
