Well, the Scientific Method is a series of rules, so that's best translated as individual, numbered bridi in Lojban, as to the name, my suggestion would be {lo se saske be zo'e to be zoi.(The category of science, e.g "Botany"->plants {lo si'o spati}")} ({lo se saske be si'o spati})
