Thank you so much! It is very confusing when I try to convert English to lojban but after reading your _expression_ I understand it. I think I need to understand the logic and study and memorize more and more.

If you need literally a verb then {jai gau zenba fai SOMETHING lo ni xamgu}

E.g.

mi jai gau zenba fai lo dinju lo ni xamgu

I make the house better.

Of course we can have other rephrasings not necessarily imitating English word order:

gau mi lo dinju cu zenba lo ni xamgu

which would mean the same, although it sounds (although doesn't mean) something like "due to me the house increases in being good"

There is also a verb

xagzengau = xa (agent) improves x2, makes x2 better ...

mi xagzengau lo dinju = I improve the house.

although it requires learning one more word where is in the previous examples I used only core vocabulary.

Can anybody tell me?
