Re: [lojban-beginners] Why is singularity so hard to express in lojban?

Is there anything wrong with being an individual?

Plurality is just as hard to express. Lojban lacks grammatical number, and specifying singular/plural either way requires extra effort, but saves effort when it's not relevant whether a noun is singular or plural, because then you don't have to do anything extra; the noun is already vague about it.

Which way(s) of expressing singularity have you found so far?
