[lojban-beginners] Android (and others!) flashcard app: Anki.

Using a decent spaced-repetition flashcard app (that is: one that
presents only a limited number of flashcards each day based on when
it thinks I'm about to forget them) is very important to language
learning for me, and many others I know.

I use Anki at this point, and having spent much of the day reviewing
other Android flashcard options, I feel pretty good about that
choice.

The main Anki page is http://ankisrs.net/ , but note that for
Android right now you want to get a pre-release version (see the
next link).

With the "release" of 0.7b5 (see
https://code.google.com/p/ankidroid/downloads/list ) the Android
version of Anki, AnkiDroid, has gotten to the point where I feel
comfortable reccomending it.  It's got a good sync system, and it's
not dog slow anymore.

There are Anki apps for pretty much everything at this point, and a
web-based app, and most of them will sync with your web decks.

I have uploaded, and try to maintain, 3 decks, available if you ask
Anki to download shared decks:

- Lojban gismu (with sound files)

- Lojban gismu Places (with sound files)

- Lojban cmavo (with sound files)
