Following what we usually do with -gau {gasnu}, I would create lujvo
with -mau {zmadu} -ma'e {mleca} and -du'i {dunli}
{la tom. cu zmadu la bil. lo ka clapre} -> Tom is taller than Bill
{la tom. cu clapremau la .bil.} -> Tom is taller than Bill
{la .bil. cu mleca la .tom. lo ka clapre} -> Bill is less tall than Tom
{la .bil. cu clapreme'a la .tom.} -> Bill is less tall than Tom
{la .meris. cu dunli la .bil. lo ka clapre} -> Mary is as tall as Bill
{la .meris. cu clapredu'i la .bil.} -> Mary is as tall as Bill
The same with superlative -rai {traji}:
{la tom. cu traji lo ka clapre} -> Tom is extremely tall
{la tom cu claprerai} -> Tom is extremely tall
There are many of those (selckiku once made a huge list of "smart
lujvo" like these)
remod.
