Because {ganai abu jetnu ge lo du'u abu nibli by kei ku jetnu gi by jetnu}. (In case my lojban is wrong) If A is true and {A nibli B} is true, then B is true.

However, (taking {lo nibyti'i} to mean evidence, which I still don't like) {naku zo'u ganai abu jetnu ge lo du'u abu ba'e nibyti'i by kei ku jetnu gi by jetnu}. It is not true that if A is true and {A nibyti'i B} is true, then B is true.

You might be eating it to be polite, or because you've been deprived of food for the last week; it is not true that there is a logical implication, but your eating it _is_ evidence that you like it.

How is that different from:

 nibli lo du'u do nelci
 It logically implies that you like it.

 lo nu do citka cu nibli lo du'u do nelci
 Your eating it logically implies that you like it.
