I'm new to Lojban, and am currently working through some of the online
lessons. It looks really interesting, and I hope to continue learning
it.

I just wanted to know how you would write "Samways" in Lojban?
I thought that it would be "samueis", but I'd like to have it
clarified :D.

English is not phonetically unambiguous, so some people might say
samueis (IMO this is what you would get if you pronounced the name with completely correct and clear English enunciation). People might say sam, ueis or samuais or sam, uias , according to what kind of English accent they have. That's what you have to think about -- the kind of pronunciation you are expecting. Lojban is unambiguous about what a particular string of characters sounds like, but you still have to decide what sound you are intending first :)

(the comma isn't phonetically distinct, it just represents whether there is a short pause or not. sam, ueis == samueis with different pausation.)
