Re: [lojban-beginners] lujvo making help request

Where'd tolcu'i go?

What do you mean?

Also, if you look at the tanru grouping, you have:
(((god-kind-of-exist)-kind-of-impossible)-kind-of-know)-kind-of-believe
which seems to be "believe that you can know that it's impossible for a god to exist", to me. {cevni zasti djuno tolcu'i krici} seems like the right tanru, with the lujvo changing analogously.

{cevni zasti djuno tolcumkri} -> zo tolcumkri valsi lo du'u ko'a krici lo du'u ko'e tolcu'i ko'i
{cevni zasti juntolcumkri} -> zo juntolcumkri valsi lo du'u ko'a krici lo du'u lo nu djuno ko'e kei tolcu'i ko'i
{cevni za'ijuntolcumkri} -> zo za'ijuntolcumkri valsi lo du'u ko'a krici lo du'u lo nu djuno lo du'u ko'e zasti kei kei tolcu'i ko'i
{cevza'ijuntolcumkri} -> zo cevza'ijuntolcumkri valsi lo du'u ko'a krici lo du'u lo nu djuno lo du'u ko'i poi cevni kei kei tolcu'i ko'e

Does that sound reasonable?
That's a mouthful;  If people decide to actually use it, I can hope for a ze'ivla, at least.

I'm unsatisfied with the current translation of "agnostic" as "god-doubter"

While that works in common usage, a more precise definition (at least as it is used in certain circles in which I discuss) would be "one who believes in the unknowability of the existence of a god"

so I tried to come up with a lujvo:

krici lo du'u tolcu'i lo djuno be lo du'u zasti fa lo cevni -> {ko'a} believes that it is impossible to know that god exists. (djuno asks for a {du'u}, although {jei} may be more appropriate)
fi lo cevni cu krici lo du'u tolcu'i lo djuno be lo du'u zasti -> {ko'a} believes about god that it is impossible to know that {zo'e} exists
cevni krici lo du'u tolcu'i lo djuno be lo du'u zasti -> {ko'a} god type-of believes that it is impossible to know that {zo'e} exists
cevni krici lo du'u tolcu'i lo zasti djuno -> {ko'a} god type-of believes that it is impossible to exist type-of know
cevni krici lo du'u zasti djuno tolcu'i -> {ko'a} god type-of believes that (exist type-of know) type-of impossible

But I get stuck there.  Am I going about this the right way?

Is the next progression

zasti djuno tolcu'i cevni bo krici = zasti djuno tolcu'i ke cevni krici

?

I'd appreciate any advice.
