Re: [lojban-beginners] Sarcasm

As I understand it, it is verbotten to use cnivla sarcastically; I recall reading this somewhere, but I don't remember where.

I've been thinking of {je'unai} as useful for indicating that the meaning of an utterance is [intended to be] contrary to what is actually said, and I guess {.ui je'unai} could be equivalent to a very flat "Yay.", even though the semantic relation between two adjacent cnivla aren't clearly defined (intentionally).

Is there a cmavo for sarcasm?

I recently found myself writing something like this:

ko'a broda ko'e ko'i .ui .ui

Would that be perceived as a sarcastic _expression_ of happiness? ;)
