[lojban-beginners] {nal-} vs {nar-}

I understand the difference between {na'e} and {na} in bridi.  I'm curious if there's a stylistic guideline for which one should be used in creating a lujvo when the difference in meaning is very subtle.

For example, "atheist" is translated as {nalceikri} = {na'e ceikri} implying that {lo nalceikri} lies somewhere on the spectrum of belief in some god, but not at the {ceikri} end of it.  I'm personally tempted to use {narceikri} = {na ceikri} saying nothing about {lo narceikri} except that {ny} is not a {lo ceikri}.
