  I personally don't like it.  As an editor over at oedilf.com, I take
my stresses very seriously.  That's why it's often difficult to
translate English songs into lojban.  English songs tend to end their
lines with stress, which is only possible of course in lojban with
cmevla and cmavo.

  I'd probably be more forgiving with omitting .i (although I find in
practice, it can easily be wedged in quickly) or with leaving out (or
severely shortening, at any rate) mandatory pauses.
