Is there a way to say something like "So you say that I am fat?"

The problem is that cusku takes a (sedu'u/text/lu'e concept), and not a more general abstraction.

"se du'u" is what you want, not "a more general abstraction".

Without considering the English "So ...?" construct, this is:

do cusku lo se du'u mi plana
You say that I am fat

"lo se du'u" is, in general, what you use where you could use a quotation but are instead expressing the concept in your own words. "You" said something whose meaning was "I am fat", but you're not saying what words were said.
