[lojban-beginners] Re: Abstraction terminators: kei and ku



This is PRECISELY WHY I want all newbies to learn terminators as a
requirement.
*directing this comment at all oldbies that didn't see the point*

To Zifre:

It's required because {nu broda kei brode} is a tanru. So {lo nu broda
kei brode} is (lo (nu (broda) kei)(brode)). You have to terminate the
{lo} as well to get {lo nu broda kei ku brode}, which can be shortened
to {lo nu broda ku brode} in this particular instance. However, if you
have {lo nu broda lo brode ku kei ku brodi}, the shortest you can get
it is either {lo nu broda lo brode kei ku brodi} or {lo nu broda lo
brode ku ku brodi}.
