Secondly, this is not a real proposal. I honestly thought people would be able to tell, considering the use of the word "friggin'", which is not language that would ever be used in a serious proposal. And even if it were a serious proposal, it wouldn't change the language in any case.

The point of the "Friggin' Proposal" was to vent some of my frustration as the needlessly long and many times painful debate over the concept of 'text' that has been going on on the BPFK list since the 9th. Counting today, that's nearly a week of wasted energy that could've been spent doing BPFK work.
