I'm applying lojban to an automated record-keeping task. For my particular use case, i'm interested in keeping name/sumti-position information in a unified, brief format for consistent parsing, and bundling all the functional information in the full bridi. I guess it's an aesthetic decision in the end, but it seems appropriate for this use case.

In what way is "lo mi tuple cu dasni lo pamoi" more brief than "mi dasni lo pamoi palku"?
They're both equally valid. I'm just curious since you said earlier that you were going for brevity.

mmm. I like that solution. For pants I could do:
{ lo mi tuple ku cu dasni lo pa moi ku }
or just
{ lo mi tuple cu dasni lo pamoi }
beautiful. ki'ecai

If you want to be -extremely- brief, you could say {le pamoi ku}. One can glean from context what it could be in the case of {klama fo le pamoi} or somesuch.
However, that's the most brief you'll be able to get, unless I've missed something.
