[lojban-beginners] Translation of Getting to Know You (poem)

I heard about Lojban this month, and the concept intrigued me. I decided 
to learn it. I would appreciate any comments on my translation of the 
poem, Getting to Know You. I found the poem in a book for beginning 
English readers, hoping that I could translate it more easily as a 
beginning Lojban speaker.

Getting to Know You

Getting to like you, getting to hope you like me,
Getting to know you, putting it my way, but nicely,
You are precisely my cup of tea!

Getting to know you, getting to feel free and easy.
When I am with you, getting to know what to say.

Because of all the beautiful and new things
