Well... I don't think that counts. I've heard American Armed Forces
members call Kaiserslautern K-Town, but I don't think that makes it
"the English name for that town" any more than "Thess" is "the English
name of Thessaloniki" even though that's what I've heard a bunch of
Americans living in Greece call it.
