Doesn't "le kerfa be la .umal. bunre gi'e xekri gi'e grusi" mean
"Oumma's fur is brown and (it's) black and (it's) gray", with the additional implication that the fur is all brown, all black, and all gray - a contradiction.  

Shouldn't the sentence have "joi" instead of "gi'e", thus:

le kerfa be la .umal. bunre joi xekri joi grusi
