[lojban-beginners] "Lupin's left eye is rebelling"

All this traffic on the list has got me started again trying to pick up
lojban. Just today someone I was talking with was making a drawing of
someone called Lupin, and remarked "And now his left eye is rebelling
too" (this after complaining about his hair).

I picked this to try to translate into lojban. Replacing the pronoun
with a name, to make up for the loss of context in pulling it out of
the conversation, I started with "Lupin's left eye is rebelling" (I
don't think myself good enough to try to get the shade implied by the
"And" and "too"), I ended up with {le la lupin. zunle kanma cu fapro
damba mi}.

Comments? (I fully expect this to be wrong in at least one respect,
probably more.)
