Yes, well I did that because I forgot what I read about tavla and didn't

ro do ko?  I had thought do and ko both were pro-sumti for 'you', the 
latter being imperitive?

cmavo always confuse me because of their priveleged status outside of 
any kind of restrictive grammar.  Are you saying that 'doi ro do' can be 
taken as a single sentence modifier thingy referring to 'all of you', 
and your sentence reads something like "All of you, you must speak lojban."?

Um... "Suggestion.  I suggest the idea that all of you are speaking 
lojban," is my best guess.  In terms of grouping, is it like (.e'u cai 
((mi) stidi (lo nu (ro do tavla fo la lojban))))?  That is, cai refers 
to the statement around stidi, and nu somehow magically uses a bridi as 
its second argument instead of a sumti?  If so, I might use 'ko' instead 
of 'do' to ensure that they understand I am suggesting a command, 
instead of suggesting an observation.  That is, unless as above, I have 
completely misunderstood the meaning of 'ro' and 'do'.

No, I did want a strong suggestion, although it seems like there isn't a 
poetic way to phrase it.  On the other hand I don't want to say "I kinda 
sorta think maybe if it's not too much trouble we could all speak lojban 
please?" so in that sense it's something of a command.  Just basically, 
"Everyone should speak lojban!"  Or even "How about let us all speak 
lojban!"  I have heard that 'should' does not translate well into 
lojban, but thought I might give it a shot.
