{mi jimpe fi lo jbobau} - doesn't quite seem to cut it, as it could
just as well mean that the speaker understands the ideas behind
Lojban, how it was devised, its history, (x3 = subject) without
necessarily understanding what's being said. So...

{mi jimpe ca lo nu lo jbobau cu ve tavla} - "I understand when Lojban
is being spoken" ???

coi .adam.

How about

   mi jimpe bau la lojban.

Wouldn't that mean that you understand something, and the language you understand it in is Lojban?
