[lojban-beginners] Lojban makes life worth living
coi ro do
I'm
working on a (very) short story by Saki. Not too bad. But I did come
across a sentence which is a pretty common turn of phrase in English,
but which caused me much difficulty in translation. I submit I for your
contemplation.
The original English sentence is:
In fact there was much before her to make life particularly well worth living.
Hm. Let's try:
{ da'i nai ko'a pu'o zukte so'i da poi krinu lo nu lo li'i jmive cu vamji lo nu gunka lo zu'o jmive }
"Particularly" didn't make it in there, but I'm winded. Anyone have any ideas?
ki'e sai ro do .i mu'o mi'e .adam.
