Not sticking? Well, do you mean the vocabulary part, or the grammar
part? I've always had a lot of trouble learning vocabulary, but with
programs like Supermemo (www.supermemo.com and
http://www.digitalkingdom.org/~rlpowell/hobbies/lojban/) or Logflash
(www.lojban.org/resources/tools.html), there's good ways to get that
down. If LFB just doesn't have the detail for you, then you can check
out the reference grammar
(http://www.lojban.org/publications/reference_grammar.html),
especially the first, second, and fifth chapters.
And to help you practice, you might want to try your hand at reading
some of the longer lojban texts (a partial listing is at
http://www.lojban.org/tiki/tiki-index.php?page=Texts+in+Lojban&bl)
with the help of the translator, wordlists, and online dictionary
(http://www.lojban.org/advanced.html).
