[lojban-beginners] Re: just a hobby?

You know, I would love for lojban to be more than a hobby. I would  
love to be able to speak it fluently and get my friends into it. I  
would love to be able to advertise and spread lojban, but there's a  
couple reasons why, for now, it's just a hobby.

First and foremost, classes just started. I really don't have that  
much time for hobbies. I'm going to have to really work ahead or  
something to devote a good deal of time to lojban. I can spare some  
time for it now, but not enough to make it more than a hobby. They  
really like to work a guy his freshman year, it seems.

Secondly, I can't get my friends into it because I don't have cool  
friends that enjoy languages like I do.
