This is a similar problem to what I face. I spend most of my time on a
Mac OS X machine and the remaining (computer time) in front of a linux
box. Supermemo is windows only, logflash and genius are macosx only.
Are there any programs out there which are cross platform enough to
handle at least windows, macosx, and linux, plus preferably the wince,
palm os, and linux/qtopia handhelds? It should preferably be open
source in some form for various reasons but not necessarily so. The
most important thing is that it prove suitable as the default
recommendation for those that wish to learn lojban so as to avoid
fragmentation and duplicate effort in maintaining multiple language
source files. Not to mention confusion for beginners, ie me and others
on this list ;-).
Regarding the use of pictures take a look at
http://www.rosettastone.com/ Especially the online demo.

ps. taking a look at memaid now.
