[lojban-beginners] Re: My name
Finding a lojbanic name has never really been of interest to me. It's
like technically my name(Zachary) means "God's Chosen" or something
of the sort, but I'm never really cared that much. To me a name is an
otherwise nonsensical label. Mixing names and words in English can be
very confusing.
Example:
Man 1: Man, can you believe that Big Tree?
Man 2: What tree? I don't see any trees.
Man 1:No, no, Big Tree. The Person.
Man 2:Ohhh...
Then again, that's not so much of a problem in Lojban because of la.
With that malglico little rant out of the way, allow me to vote for
la vesysev. Not only is it palindromic, it is also somewhat lyric and
pleasing to both the ears and the tongue.

I've been trying to find a native Lojbanic name for myself and
found these:
la nalzvat. - Not Present (because I'm always thinking of something
so when people ask me a question I'm likely to put a "Pardon? O_o"
first)
la vesysev. - Springdreamer (isn't that beautiful? isn't that
palindromic?)
la darves. - Faraway Spring (much lyric)
la varyrux. - Airsoul (less lyrical, but sounds good; and fits me)
Would You please tell me about Your opinion - I'm much interested
in it.
Thanks in advance!
