[lojban-beginners] Re: DICT server -- specifying dictionary

I've been trying to create an interface for querying the dict server

<word> command. The only valid database seems to be "*" wich is all
databases. Everytime I try "en<->lbo", "!", or any othere database I
get "501 Syntax error, illegal parameters". I was wondering if there
was something I needed to do get this working, or who I could talk to
about the dict interface.

It works for me with dict(1).

arj@gavagai:~$ dict -P - -i "en->jbo" -h lojban.org say
  English to Lojban
1 definition found

From English to Lojban [en->jbo]:

  {say}, is the gloss word for {cusku}.

Note that the ISO 639-2 code for Lojban is 'jbo', not 'lbo'.

Hope this helps.
