Maybe I have my dimensions screwed up, but I thought that they went like:
1 - point
2 - line
3 - plane
4 - cube
5 - time
A point has no dimensions, a line has one, a plane two, a cube three.
Time can be considered as a fourth dimension in space-time, along with
the three spatial dimensions (height, width and depth).
But in le cmalu bo xunre cukta it starts with the second dimension?
vi'i - line
vi'a - plane
vi'u - cube
vi'e - time
So I'm wondering why they did it like that. For example vi'a is termed
"2-space interval", so it's a little confusing when vi'a is referring to the
3rd dimension.
{vi'a} is not referring to the third dimension, it indicates that some interval
is two-dimensional.
Now, you could ask why isn't there a word to indicate that an event
is point-like, with no (relevant) spatial dimensions. That's a good
question, but maybe it doesn't matter much since these words don't
seem to be used very much anyway.
